Job Profile of Lead Magento Backend Developer

·        Excellent programming skills in core PHP is required

·        Have experience in Magento Commerce cloud and configurations

·        Experience working on Headless eCommerce projects

• Knowledge on Magento Admin, Onboarding, Project Web UI applications.

·        Develop custom extensions for Magento commerce cloud for specific business needs

·        Knowledge on Fastly, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Elastic Search Nginx, GraphQL, Messaging System like Kafka.

·        Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)

·        Must have Marketplace experience preferably on "webkul" or any other Magento based marketplace experience

·        Experience in performance optimisation on Magento headless Ecommerce using graphQL

·        Able to integrate with third party integrations.

·        Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents and enable development team with proper technical details for implementation.

·        Debug complex issues and bugs using debugging tools

·         Liaise with team members, clients, and 3rd party service providers to develop new ways to enhance website functionality and eCommerce conversion

·        In depth understanding of application deployment using Jenkins or any CI/CD platforms.

·        In depth understanding of a retails business is required preferably ecommerce.

·        Hands-on experience with Agile Tools like Jira, Confluence etc.

·        Knowledge on monitoring tools for application like Dynatrace, Google Analytics, APM, New Relic etc.

·        Knowledge on Code version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket etc.

·        Ensuring that systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner.

·        Working independently and collaborating (as necessary) with other teams to drive resolution to issues reported by Application Support Team.

·        Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy.

·        Able to analyze the business impact of the incident and communicate to the business and minimize the disruption.

·        Provide timely and clear communication updates to customers and leaders.

·        Proactively recommend enhancements to improve the functioning of the application.

Qualifications

·        Over 9+ years of hands-on experience on Magento commerce.

·        Good knowledge of one or more Operating Systems

·        Aptitude for customer focus

·        Self-motivated individual who can handle responsibility

·        Experience in IT or eBusiness, including experience with eCommerce, web application development, or other eBusiness solutions

·        Familiarity with a broad array of internet technologies and trends

·        Experience in problem resolution with IT systems

·        Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences

·        Experience with an enterprise-class eCommerce platform, Magento Commerce

·        Familiarity with Agile development processes 

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering marketing or communications
