Main Purpose –

  • The main purpose of the quality system and Excellence lead is to secure the vegetable seeds Product Supply LTO.
  • Develop and deploy a value driven regional strategy for Quality Systems and Quality Excellence components in alignment with Bayer Crop Science Quality.
  • With the support of dedicated QSE specialists lead  quality Excellence program within the different PS functions (Production, MEX, SCM, Quality, S&T)

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities –

  • Govern VS PS risk management processes and associated mitigation collaboration with the business owner.
  • Govern and oversee the VS PS Management of Change (MOC) Program
  • Ensure proper governance and structure is applied to document management, audit,  non-conformance, CAPA, FMEA and  Management review.
  • Planning and execution of regional audits
  • Define, update and report VS PS Quality metrics and assure reliable reporting.
  • Connect quality program to one PSS (and similar) program to leverage resources to sustain continuous improvement/process optimization
  • QMR – Metrics harmonization and report out
  • Internal and external assurance program related to ISO, QMS, accreditations and certifications
  • Support the Accreditations/Certification Programs such as  GSPP, Good Seed and Plant Practices Program for VS PS
  • Lead a culture of "Quality in all we do" for VS PS, quality culture assessment and gap mitigation
  • Integrate activities with broader License to Operate efforts for the regional VSPS Business. Support Stewardship/Compliance
  • Drive best practices CoP within Regions
  • Intelex – new modules (Audits and Observations)
  • Support Cost of poor quality for the region

Qualifications & Competencies –

  • Bachelor’s (B.S) degree in supply chain management, life science, business management
  • minimum 7+ years experience in seed industry with a combination of . quality assurance, research, marketing, production, inventory management or operational experience
  • Experience in leading cross-functional/cross-cultural teams
  • Effective communication  and ability to influence all levels in the organization
  • Customer Centric Thinking
  • Experience in managing quality system and being an auditor will be a plus

Job Description Your Role: Working together with the Document Controller to ensure that the administration of the documents is properly organized  and handled. Working together with the offices responsible to ensure that all local contracts from the site are awarded only to demonstrably qualified suppliers and/or that appropriate preventive actions are taken to eliminate weak points. Prepare and agree audit schedule. Working together with the Site Management to ensure that the material  handling manager, assembly and commissioning staff responsible check all incoming shipments  for damage in transit and completeness of shipment. Checking the contractors I&T plans, approved FQP and associated procedures for their work at the Site and acting via the Site Manager, advising any corrections required. Monitoring to make certain that  the inspection and testing during assembly and commissioning  are conducted, documented, checked, approved, and documented as prescribed in the I&T  Plans and the Approved FQP and that the testing status is readily identifiable. Acting  according to agreement with the Site Management in organizing  and supervising acceptance testing  and/or approval  by customers and governmental authorities. On assignment from the Site Management, ensuring that  documents (Q records and red correction copies) are updated and submitted to the technical responsible offices according to the standards. Take part in Site Induction Quality Training for all quality tools & Process & active participation in Kaizen event at site.
