Roles and Responsibilites

•    Collaborating with business stakeholders to define data architecture and data requirements
•    Designing data models and schemas to meet business needs
•    Evaluating and selecting appropriate data storage solutions, such as relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and NoSQL databases
•    Overseeing the implementation of data governance policies and standards
•    Ensuring data quality and integrity across the organization
•    Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations
•    Communicating data architecture strategies and plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Participating in strategic planning and technology selection for data and analytics initiatives

Primary Skills

Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices
Expertise in data modeling and database design
Experience with a variety of data storage solutions, including both structured and unstructured data
in-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality and data management practices
Strong knowledge of data security and privacy regulations
Extensive experience with data migration, data integration, and ETL processes
Experience with modern data platforms and technologies such as serverless computing, containerization, and microservices
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation languages such as Python
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data storage and retrieval technologies, SQL and NoSQL
Experience with data processing frameworks such as Snowflake, Databricks or Apache Spark
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
"Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management (desirable)
or specialized training/certification (at least 1 year)
or equivalent work experience" (at least 10 years)
Typically requires 10+ years’ of related technical experience
