Oracle DBA - JD

Technical:

8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration with RAC/ASM/Goldengate.

Strong experience with DB patching, Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring, Indexing, SQL Query tuning, partitioning and troubleshooting tools.

Strong experience with backups, restores and recovery models both on prem and Azure Managed Instances.

Strong experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options, instances with multiple nodes.

Strong experience with Grid Control OEM 13c and Goldengate.

Strong experience of Bash/Korn/C-Shell/Bourne scripting. Extensive design and development of scripts in the mentioned languages and code analysis.

Non-Technical:

Excellent written and verbal communication, with prior work experience with American/European clients. Work effectively in virtual, geographic dispersed, cross cultural environments.

Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality.

Ability to organize and plan work independently.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.

ITSM:

ITSM (minimum) foundational skills to support incident, problem, change management and major incident resolution as required. Strong leadership and incident, change and problem management capabilities to transform activities from the current operating model to the end-to-end process model.

Strong process management skills mentioned above.

Please note: This position is for overall operational delivery for products thereby ensuring availability, reliability, and overall supportability on a 7x24, 365 day basis.
