Project Lead – L5

Who are we looking for?

An Agile Scrum Master or Scrum Project manager to manage a critical project for one of our biggest client in Insurance. The Individual should be experienced in managing the projects which will involve Web Site Portal development and Partner Integrations.

 

Technical Skills:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required

 Total exp: 8 to 10 Years in IT with 2 to 3 years as Project Lead

 Guide, coach and motivate the team(s) with the goal of increasing productivity

 Passionate about Scrum, Kanban, Lean Thinking, Lean Startup, eXtreme Programming, SAFe, etc.

 Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies

 Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals

 Requirement understanding during BRD walkthrough

 Get efforts from vendor and validate it

 Share timeline with business post discussion with vendor development team

 Query resolution with BA if any during development

 Follow-up for UAT release with TSD docs and release notes from vendor

 Unit testing of the CR before releasing to QK

 Demo scheduled with developer and QK team post Unit testing

 Defect resolution timeline provide to QK in JIRA tool

 Production movement plan with release note and sign off mail

 Post deployment unit testing till payment page

 Coordination with developer and server team for ID creation, VPN access, Arcos access, ID renewal

 Share production ticket with vendor developer in case of any production issue coming

 Technically help to developer in case of they are stuck somewhere for CR development or Production issue

 CR demo with VAPT team and VAPT points closure follow-up with developer.

 Coordinate with different vendor in case of any issue coming throughout journey and raise JIRA ticket with appropriate team

 Demo with client post new product launch along with business

 Monthly timesheet report to be shared to get invoice approval

 Monitor schedule and cost performance

 Identify key KPIs

 Communicate with main stakeholders

 Prepare and present reports on the progress and success

 Drives visibility and predictability of Technology deliveries of the responsible teams through regular dashboards for all stakeholders which include defining key Technology metrics and reporting them

 Work closely with other Scrum masters and project managers to assist teams, drive ownership and foster empowerment.

 Work with external and internal cross functional teams to remove the obstacles and support the team.

 Responsible for continuously driving timely deliveries, cost effectiveness, process adherence and quality output.

 Drives agile methods adoption within Technology team

 Responsible for engagement with third party Technology partners

 Conducts Governance reviews with cross functional teams

 Collaborates with other teams to collate and assimilate financial governance data for all Technology projects

 Coordinates with Tech operations teams to Track Performance of operational and financial KPIs for the ongoing projects

 Aligns with audits as and when required

 

Main Focus Area

 Minimum 3 years of experience as a scrum master of 2 or more Agile teams

 Having been a part of large scale Agile transformation

 

Project Management

 Should have People management & Stakeholder management skills

 Strong Analytical & Communication (Verbal & Written) Skills.

 

Optional

 Strong experience in running Scrum of Scrums, Scaled Agile

 Driving all Agile Scrum ceremonies

 Domain knowledge is a plus not critical but fintech background is important

 

Process Skills:

 Capable of analyzing requirements and build a product as per project defined software process

 Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.

 

Behavioral Skills :

 Monitor technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs with the help of technical team

 Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

 Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

 Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
