Job Description Designation - Project Manager _BIW Experience - 12 to 17 years Education - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech Job Location- Pune 1. To Lead a team of Team Lead, engineers and designers and Guide in Concept design, macro feasibility during styling stage, engineering feasibility, Validation, Production build, launch and post launch support 2. Lead and guide the team in decision making for components and assemblies, make and buy discussions, cost, weight and quality balancing with the CE and PPPM, ensuring timely delivery at every milestones as per Project time plan and the schedule assigned by Project lead. 3. Detail engineering and Release activities and validation plan, tooling feasibility and kickoff, Tooling evaluation, Initial quality check and sign off and tool sign off for a vehicle program for BIW compoents. 4. CAD modeling and 3D annotations of exterior trims components and assemblies ensuring timely delivery 5. Coordinate with all internal and external agencies and stake holders in TML/Suppliers for design, development and Launch of vehicle 6. Support POST launch engineering support, Lead and guide the team to resolve all manufacturing, Quality, weight and Cost reduction activities. Participate in other initiatives taken up for improvements. 7. Review, evaluate with team in the TML initiatives like VAVE, weight reduction and quality improvements and deliver as per given target of cost, quality and weight. 8. Design, engineering and validation of BIW, Minimum one complete Vehicle Design, engineering and Development cycle till launch and post launch support 9. Awareness of all Automotive regualtions and well conversant with BIW components 10. Design and engineering, materials. Should have completed atleast one complete engineering project from Concept to launch of a vehicle program 11. Must have working knowledge of CATIA part and product, experience in BOM generation and TPL with relation to feature list with ability to conduct hands on review on CATIA. 12. Good working experience of Design and engineering processes (DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS) 13. Knowledge of forming, tooling of sheet metal parts, inspection fixtures, material selection and plastics assembly and joining technology, 14. Should have ability to study work scope and estimate resource and skill set requirements.
