Business Architect/Data Scientist – Global Partner Finance What You'll Do As part of the Global Partner Finance organization, you will lead, drive the Connected Partner Funds WorkSpan initiative focused on driving the WorkSpan issues in Disti funds to closure, lead implementation of the Next Generation Rebate Engine initiative and manage any ongoing systematic changes required for new and existing partner incentive programs. This includes prioritizing enhancements and driving consistency across the entire partner incentive infrastructure including but not limited to program administration interfaces, calculation engines, funding platforms, and analytics tools. You will: · Focus on stabilizing WorkSpan system for disti funds, normalizing fund manager operations by driving system issues to closure with emphasis on finance compliance and controls · Evaluate the feasibility of new requirements from disti funds, collaborate with IT, fund owners and finance to drive prioritization · Evaluate the feasibility of new partner program systems, measures, incentives, and policies while maintaining a focus on compliance and controls · Ensure program requirements are properly documented, implemented, and validated · Build a roadmap of process, policy, and system requirements to reach a desired target state · Map end-to-end processes and controls across system inputs, processes, and outputs · Create predictive analytics to illustrate the expected impact from system or incentive changes Who You’ll Work With You will work with a diverse set of internal partners including Cisco IT, FTO (Finance Transformation Office, FCO (Financial Compliance & Operations), RAO (Revenue Accounting Operations), Global Partner Strategy, GPF (Global Partner Finance) and other subject matter experts to ensure that cross-functional requirements are achieved. You are the type of person who is/has: Experience leading, driving initiatives, projects with multiple stakeholders Constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and improve processes Ability to leverage data science and analytics to drive opportunities for strategy and execution Experience documenting processes for technical and business requirements Skilled at defining problem statements and synthesizing data to support a recommended solution Familiarity with software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, DevOps) Experience with UAT, BAT, and normalization testing Developed understanding of Cisco’s IT architecture and infrastructure Our minimum requirements for this role: · Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field · 8+ years relevant working experience in an analytics, process, or systems focused role · Relevant systems and tools knowledge (Tableau, WorkSpan, SFDC, Oracle, SAP, Snowflake, Varicent, UiPath, etc.) · Functional knowledge of key accounting rules regarding bookings, revenue, deferred revenue, and recurring revenue · Strong communication and presentation skills.
