Your role

This position involves assembling vacuum pumps and peripherals, testing and calibrating units to meet specifications, and performing tests according to internal instructions. Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble a variety of pumps and peripherals
  • Testing units to meet tolerances & product specifications
  • Maintaining the companies rigid quality assurance standards
  • Note information to work orders as required
  • Works under limited supervision
  • Perform in process specific visual and measurement inspection checks
  • Perform specific visual and measurement inspection checks as directed.
  • Record, report and compile inspection result data
  • Perform quality audits as directed
  • Recommend changes to inspection methods as conditions warrant

To succeed, you will need

  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to measure and handle a variety of complex parts
  • Have good oral and written communications skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to perform activities without constant supervision
  • Skilled using measuring equipment: micrometer; caliper; Dial indicators etc
  • Math skills for data analysis.
  • Computer skills for data collection, record keeping and reports
  • Good Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills desired

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to talk, and hear. Stand for extended periods, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Use manual and power tools safely
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch
  • frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds
