Senior Trax Engineer / Trax Engineer

Your role

With an objective to support and strengthen our technical support teams of Product companies and Customer centres with Troubleshooting content to find the right solution.

The main responsibilities of TRAX Engineer in the Technical documentation - TRAX Team in GECIA would be:

• Create guided troubleshooting guides for service engineers on field / customers.
• To Analyse the given technical information from field service or Manufacturing sites.
• To work in advance application to create the technical content to provide the dynamic solutions for the repeated problems.
• Build the logic, apply the analytical skills, and follow the flow process in creating and approval of troubleshooting guides.
• To ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content for different product portfolio and different divisions within Atlas Copco around the world.
• You will be working at the Global Engineering Centre of Atlas Copco in the technical documentation team and work independently on following:
• To work on creating the service instructions and troubleshooting guides
• To ensure and prepare required steps to complete the scope requirement.
• To lead, co-ordinate, review and take ownership of the TRAX projects in supporting the technical support teams globally.
• Follow up with the team and co-ordinate to publish the content of different products in End-user portal.
• You will handle the tasks and interact with global TRAX responsible, product specialist and service engineers to present & discuss the proposed steps of troubleshooting guide.
• To work on cross-team integration projects to develop and promote the TRAX

• Engineer with 3–5 years of field/service experience in industrial air compressors and air dryer systems.

• Hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and preventive maintenance of compressors and dryers.

• Strong knowledge of compressor and dryer maintenance practices, fault diagnosis, breakdown analysis, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with online help programs and digital service tools for industrial equipment.

• Good understanding of service operations and field service requirements.

• Knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, PLC circuits, sensors, compressor controllers, electrical panels, protection systems, pneumatic circuits, and control systems related to compressor and dryer applications will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a global team environment.

• Ability to interact with different business groups and handle technical documentation assignments.

• Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a positive and self-motivated approach.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Customer-focused mindset with a strong learning attitude and teamwork skills.

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting project/service deadlines.

• Should be customer focused.
