Your Role

1.Project Initiation & Handover

  • Conduct order transfer meetings with the Sales team.
  • Ensure complete and accurate handover of all pre‑order documents, commitments, and customer expectations.

2. Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare detailed project plans including timelines, deliverables, and milestone schedules.
  • Review team workload along with project manager and allocate projects based on capacity, complexity & priority.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Monitor all post‑order documentation activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage SAP-related project activities, updates, and tracking.

4. Procurement & Material Management

  • Work closely with Procurement and Quality teams to ensure timely sub‑ordering.
  • Track vendor delivery schedules and monitor material receipt to avoid execution delays.
  • Coordinates inter‑company material transactions to secure critical items on time. This including the planning of order placement for the intercompany items, timely ordering of the same, participate in intercompany level meetings & ensuring the material receipt on time. Etc.

5. Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Conduct periodic project review meetings with internal departments.
  • Attend customer review meetings and act as the primary execution point of contact.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination across Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Production, Finance, and Sales.

6. Execution & Production Follow-Up

  • Monitor shop loading and work with Production to set priorities based on project criticality.
  • Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and scope**.**

7. Financial Performance & Reporting

  • Collecting necessary inputs from Project, procurement team & review project completion / material receipt status for accurate POC (Percentage of Completion) reporting to Finance**.**
  • Monitor project margins and identify risks or deviations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts and present to management.
  • Coordinate milestone payment activities, including internal follow‑up and external customer payment submissions.

8. Change Management

  • Track any changes in project scope and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support the Sales/Commercial team in evaluating, processing, and communicating change requests or variations.

9. Process Improvement

  • Continuously review existing project execution processes.

Identify areas for improvement and drive implementation in coordination with relevant departments.

 To succeed, you will need  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical)
  • 12+ years of experience in project management, engineering execution, or related disciplines within industrial or engineered‑to‑order environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex rotating equipment and process package projects.
  • Strong experience working with leading EPC / LSTK contractors and major end users such as EIL, Reliance, Technip, tKIS, Tecnimont, Toyo, and similar global engineering organizations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of project planning tools and extensive experience working with ERP/SAP systems for project execution and reporting.
  • Exceptional coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Solid financial acumen, including understanding of project margins, revenue forecasting, cost monitoring, and Percentage of Completion (POC) reporting.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving approach, with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify and implement process enhancements.
