Your role

As a Field Service Engineer - Texas, your mission is to provide expert repair services for our vacuum pumps and systems, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies. You will report to the Field Service Manager.

You will

  • Report into the Field Service Manager. 
  • Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various vacuum pumps and systems. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime. 
  • Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities. 
  • Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics perferred. Knowledgeable of HVAC preferred.
  • You have 1-2 years of experience, maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment, preferably on vacuum pumps or systems. 
  • Aspiration to keep up to date with the latest technical developments
  • Experience in a service position in an industrial and highly technical environment
  • Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.  Able to complete work within assigned deadlines. Computer proficiency as required for communicaiton, research, work orders and programming various controllers.  Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments including extremes in temerature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Extensive travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel.  Available for a rotating schedule of on-call work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
