Environmental Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and programs
• Monitor compliance with local, regional, and company EHS regulations and standards
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and audits, and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintains the ISO 14001 system
• Deliver EHS training and awareness initiatives to empower employees at all levels
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to EHS activities
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure safe operating practices and environmental stewardship
• Support emergency preparedness planning and response activities

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience in environmental engineering
• Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and standards
• Ability to identify risks and implement practical, effective solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders in both English and Hungarian
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in documenting, reporting, and analyzing EHS data

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Professional certification in EHS or a related discipline (Environmental Engineer, primarily)
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with ISO14001 EMS standard
• Experience delivering training or facilitating workshops
• Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability practices
