Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership and Coordination
You act as the local project lead on site, coordinating activities between the client project team, EPC/construction contractors, district heating provider, and engineering and installation partners.
Engineering Oversight
You ensure technical progress aligns with project needs and schedule, drive resolution of open engineering topics, and escalate deviations to the Project Director where required.
Construction Coordination
You serve as the primary on-site contact towards construction and installation contractors, manage interface issues, and ensure work is executed in line with schedule, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
Compliance, Reporting, and QA
You ensure all project activities comply with technical specifications, environmental permits, and contractual obligations, and support QA/QC processes together with site teams.
District Heating Interface
You coordinate project activities related to district heating system integration and ensure alignment on pipeline routing, handover points, and system interfaces.
Requirements
Mandatory:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
Background from large industrial or infrastructure projects
Experience in construction site coordination and contractor/interface management
Strong knowledge of engineering workflows, construction execution, and HSE and quality standards
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Strong and confident on-site leadership capability
Preferred:
Experience from the steel, energy, process, or heavy industrial sectors
Background in EPC/EPCM project environments
Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex industrial settings
