Job Summary: Looking at the annual accounts and regulatory filings of the insurers and standardize the Balance Sheet and Income Statement figures as per the format set by Market Security Group. Understanding financial accounts of insurance and reinsurance companies, including property, casualty, life and health insurance companies from around the world. Assist the insurance analysts in producing detailed factual reports and financial assessment on certain carriers for the benefit of WTW’s clients by making available financial figures, ratios, ownership info, business split, and information from other public domain sources. Assist in producing bespoke reports as per the requirements of WTW’s security committee such as collating and reporting regulatory solvency ratios and details on major catastrophe events. Adhere to set quality and turnaround time targets ensuring adherence to Group standards, policies and procedures. Deliver KPI & SLA as per business requirements. Principal Duties: Continued development of own financial and analytical understanding. Maintain relevant qualifications required for the role. Keep abreast of insurance industry and worldwide economic developments. Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility. Qualifications : B. Com, M. Com, MBA Finance Desired Profile: Candidate is required to have 0-2 years prior experience in a role relating to financial research/investment research/sector analysis/credit ratings. Prior experience in insurance sector would be an added advantage. Good understanding of accounts. Analytical mind with the ability to draw conclusions from a wide range of data. Proficient with MS Office and PDF editor applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Good inter-personal skills. Attention to detail is vital to succeed in this role. Highly motivated individual looking for professional development.
