WHAT YOU'LL DO: As a DevOps Associate, you will Be responsible for/assist design, implementation, and managing cutting-edge deployment and automation of cloud resources Be the first line of defence for the development teams analyzing outages, driving RCAs and bringing required product enhancements from RCAs Automate integration scenarios for cloud services Create processes to automate and improve the maintainability of cloud systems using proven DevOps tools Work with development teams to integrate with external systems to achieve a fully automated dev-to-production release cycle Design, build, manage, maintain and scale SAP Business Technology Platform core data center infrastructure on need basis Maintain a highly available, reliable production service and participate in on-call rotation Support the team during weekend / public holidays during upgrade / patch process as part of Developer’s call on duty. WHAT YOU'LL BRING 0-3 Years of relevant experience Experience managing production Linux systems, networking, complex distributed systems, strong system design and analytical skills are a must. Good understanding on PaaS platform such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes Experience deploying infrastructure with configuration management tools, examples include Chef, Puppet, Salt. Experience deploying infrastructure components. Examples include Graphite, Sensu, Cobbler, rsyslog, logstash Proficient with Unix/Linux tools and systems Strong system programming skills (shell, Python, Go, Chef, Ruby etc.) Strong experience in developing and configuring complex network and distributed systems Experience in automation of testing and troubleshooting of distributed systems Experience managing container based services in production using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Mesos is a plus. Working experience of using Jenkins, Concourse or other CI/CD Tools, Git/SVN etc Working experience of Monitoring tools (Grafana), Logging tools (ELK) Basic understanding of InfluxDB, including its usage and data handling capabilities Basic understanding of AI principles, including machine learning(ML), natural language processing, and data analysis, to effectively contribute to AI-driven projects Familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications is essential, enabling candidates to assist in the development and implementation of AI solutions within the team Should have experience in operations and ticket handling, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and smooth workflow management Strong focus on quality of delivered software. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to make presentations to professional peers and work closely with management
